Juvederm® near Philadelphia, PA
Centrally located in Southampton and serving Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery Counties, the Kole Plastic Surgery Center performs Juvederm® treatment for patients desiring skin rejuvenation.
What Is Juvederm®?
Juvederm® is an injectable gel that immediately adds volume to the cheeks, correcting age-related volume loss. Juvederm® is a smooth gel that also instantly smoothes away wrinkles around the mouth and nose. When injected properly, it gives patients a subtle lift, restoring contour and a more youthful profile. Juvederm® is a hyaluronic acid product, which is a naturally occurring substance in the body. Hyaluronic acid binds with water, plumping the skin with moisture. Since hyaluronic acid naturally occurs in the body, no pre-treatment allergy testing is necessary.
Is Juvederm® a Good Choice for Me?
Many patients choose Juvederm® treatments when they are trying to reduce the visible signs of aging in the cheeks. This aging occurs when cheeks begin to lose volume. Patients with facial volume loss due to sudden or extreme weight loss, as well as certain medical problems such as facial asymmetry or droop can also benefit from treatment with Juvederm®. Patients who are experiencing lines in the nasolabial folds, smile lines, vertical lip lines, and lines formed near the chin can benefit from Juvederm®. Juvederm® treatments are also excellent at defining the lip border and creating a fuller lip.
What Can I Expect Before and After Juvederm® Treatment?
Juvederm® is injected at Dr. Kole’s office and does not require any kind of anesthesia. Juvederm® is injected in small amounts over the treatment area until the desired aesthetic outcome is achieved. Dr. Kole might massage the treatment area gently to assure that the product is evenly distributed. The process takes just a few minutes, and the results are immediate.
After Juvederm® treatment, patients can return to their daily activities immediately. No incisions, sutures, or bandages are involved with Juvederm® injections. Most patients don’t take more than an hour or two away from their busy lives.
The initial results are typically seen two to four days after the injection with full results visible one week after the injection. Patients find, to their pleasure, that results of the procedure usually remain visible for two years with optimal treatment; many patients return one month after initial treatment for a “touch-up” and do not return for two years after that.
What Is the Cost of Juvederm® in Philadelphia and Bucks County?
