Kole Plastic Surgery Center offers rhinoplasty to residents of Huntingdon Valley, PA.

What Is Rhinoplasty?

Rhinoplasty, which is frequently called “nose reshaping,” is a surgical procedure that changes the size and shape of the nose. When patients choose to undergo rhinoplasty, they often do so because they do not feel their nose fits their face, whether due to the length, width or the presence of bumps. Some people choose rhinoplasty because they want to make their noses appear more even and symmetrical.

How Is Rhinoplasty Performed?

Dr. Kole makes an incision within the nose as a means of getting to the cartilage and bones responsible for holding up the nose. He may remove some of the cartilage or bone. He also occasionally introduces tissue via synthetic filler or from different body areas. Once he’s finished with the cartilage and bone reshaping process, he returns the tissue and skin to the top of the nose. He employs a splint to accommodate the new nose form during the recovery period.

Why Choose Dr. Kole for Rhinoplasty?

Dr. Edward S. Kole is at the helm of our practice, Kole Plastic Surgery Center. The American Osteopathic Board of Surgery granted him Board Certification in Plastic Surgery and General Surgery. He’s a 1991 honors graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
