How can I prepare for my rhinoplasty?

Prior to the rhinoplasty surgical procedure, Dr. Kole will go over the realistic expectations of what can be accomplished prior to your procedure. He will determine what needs to be performed to obtain the most optimal results. It is recommended that you don’t take any medications that may inhibit blood clotting or cause postoperative bleeding problems such as aspirin, motrin and ibuprofen. You will be provided a comprehensive medicine, food and herbal list of products to avoid. If you smoke, it is also recommended that you stop smoking at least one month prior to your surgery. Smoking significantly inhibits the surgical healing process.
