Juvederm® Ultra near Philadelphia, PA

Centrally located in Southampton and serving Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery Counties, the Kole Plastic Surgery Center performs Juvederm® Ultra treatment for patients desiring skin rejuvenation.

What Is Juvederm® Ultra?

Juvederm® Ultra is an injectable gel that is an FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in the body. Hyaluronic acid delivers nutrients, hydrates the skin by holding in water, and acts as a cushioning agent. When injected with ultrafine needles to reduce discomfort and optimize procedure results, Juvederm® Ultra immediately adds volume to the cheeks, correcting age-related volume loss. It gives patients a subtle lift, restoring contour and a more youthful profile. Results of Juvederm® Ultra last up to two years.

Is Juvederm® Ultra the Right Choice for Me?

If you have experienced moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds in the nasolabial area, the chin, the forehead, and around the mouth, then Juvederm® Ultra may be the answer for you. Once Juvederm® Ultra is injected, it immediately adds volume to the skin and gives the appearance of smoother skin. Juvederm® Ultra can also correct scars, as well as enhance lips in a naturally appearing manner.

What Can I Expect During and After a Juvederm® Ultra Treatment?

Juvederm® Ultra is injected at the office and does not require any kind of anesthesia. Juvederm® Ultra is injected in small amounts over the treatment area until the desired aesthetic outcome is achieved. Dr. Kole may massage the treatment area gently to ensure that the product is evenly distributed. The process takes just a few minutes, and the results are immediate.

After Juvederm® Ultra, patients can return to their daily activities immediately. No incisions, sutures, or bandages are involved with Juvederm® Ultra injections. Most patients don’t take more than an hour or two away from their lives.

Initial results are typically seen three days after the injection, and full results are visible one week after the injection. Juvederm® Ultra patients find that the results of the procedure usually remain visible for two years with optimal treatment; many patients return one month after initial treatment for a “touch-up” and do not return for two years after that. To decide if this procedure is for you, contact Dr. Kole today for a consultation.
