Restylane® Lyft near Philadelphia, PA
Centrally located in Southampton and serving Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery Counties, the Kole Plastic Surgery Center offers Restylane® Lyft treatment for patients desiring skin rejuvenation.
What Is Restylane® Lyft?
Restylane® Lyft, formerly known as Perlane®, is a gel that is made of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the body. Hyaluronic acid binds with water molecules. This bonding of water molecules causes youthful skin to appear plump and smooth. When injected into the skin, Restylane® Lyft binds with water molecules, swelling the tissues with water and giving the skin a plump and youthful appearance. This process smoothes away wrinkles and restores volume to sagging areas.
What Areas Can Be Improved with Restylane® Lyft?
In our offices, we treat patients with Restylane® Lyft in the nasolabial folds (the parentheses from your nose to the corners of your mouth), under the eyes, the upper cheeks, and the forehead. Restylane® Lyft is more effective under the eyes than similar dermal fillers, as it does not leave a bluish appearance like the others.
Am I a Good Candidate for Restylane® Lyft Treatment?
Restylane® Lyft is a large molecule; therefore, it can plump large areas of skin. If you are experiencing “parentheses” around the mouth, sagging to the cheeks, or bags underneath the eyes, Restylane® Lyft may be the right choice for you. Restylane® Lyft treatments can restore plumpness and firmness to these drooping areas, as well as smooth, deep lines and wrinkles.
What Can I Expect During and After a Restylane® Lyft Treatment?
Restylane® Lyft is injected into the areas to be treated with an ultra-fine needle, after receiving a lidocaine or epinephrine block. The needle is artfully injected in the previously discussed treatment areas, creating a symmetrical and natural look. The procedure takes approximately 30-45 minutes, and you can immediately return to regular activities, leaving the office with minimal discomfort. Use an ice-pack post-procedure every few hours for the next 24 hours to reduce swelling and bruising. The main ingredient in Restylane® Lyft is naturally occurring in the body and is created from non-animal proteins, so pre-treatment allergy testing is unnecessary.
You will see an immediate improvement in the treatment areas. It will fill, smooth, and minimize lines, wrinkles, and folds into which it is injected. It will also plump the cheeks and reduce bagginess under the eyes. For most patients, Restylane® Lyft lasts approximately eight months. Supplemental treatments may be required to achieve and maintain optimal results.
What Is the Cost of Restylane® Lyft in Philadelphia and Bucks County?
The cost for Restylane® Lyft varies depending on the extent of treatment necessary to achieve optimum results.
