Can I get a Mammogram after a breast lift?

If you are age 40 or greater, have a family history of breast cancer, or have a breast lump, you should have apre-operative baseline mammogram prior to your breast lift surgery. Dr. Kole will order the mammogram for you. If you already get routine mammograms, it is recommended to wait 6 months after your breast lift surgery to get your next mammogram in order to allow time for healing and the swelling to come down, and then resume your normal mammogram screening schedule.
