Male Liposuction for Thighs and Upper Arms

Liposuction rates among men have been growing for years, and men are discovering that they no longer have to accept the sagging arms or thighs that result from aging that in the past they have had to come to terms with.  Men can accumulate extra fatty deposits in their upper arms and upper thighs as they age which is often accompanied by sagging skin.  For men who have lived most of their lives staying fit, it can be especially discouraging that certain parts of the body, like the upper arms and thighs, are immune to exercise and tend to sag and accumulate fat despite regular exercise and a healthy diet.  Sagging arms and fat around the thigh area can be very embarrassing for men and also uncomfortable when wearing suits or fitted clothing.  Kole Plastic Surgery offers liposuction for men that can target the hard-to-reach upper arms and upper thighs for men who want to improve their appearance.  Men are finding new relief with modern liposuction procedures that sculpt the arms and thighs to keep men looking young and healthy.

How To Get Started

Liposuction for men starts with a consultation with Dr. Kole at his office in Southampton, Bucks County PA. The Kole Plastic Surgery Center serves patients in all of Bucks County and surrounding areas, so men within the region who would like to learn more about liposuction for their upper arms and thighs should call the office at 215-315-7655 to schedule a private complimentary consultation.  During your consultation, Dr. Kole will examine your problem areas and listen to your concerns about the sagging in your arms or the fat deposits in your thighs.  Because each individual is unique, Dr. Kole takes into careful consideration your goals for surgery, as well as the extent of sagging and the amount of accumulation of fat that can be corrected with liposuction.  It is very important to go into any procedure with realistic goals for after surgery, and Dr. Kole will discuss with you what you can expect after liposuction in your arms or thighs and is available to answer any questions you may have.

How Liposuction is Performed

Liposuction in the upper arms and thighs begins with an injection into the area of warmed saline solution, which works to loosen and separate the fat under the skin.  After separating the fat, it is easier to remove during the liposuction procedure.  Dr. Kole then uses tiny tubes called cannulas to permanently remove the broken-up fat and it is disposed of, leaving the arm or thigh area thinner and more sculpted.

Liposuction of the Arms

In many men, fat deposits in the upper arms are accompanied by sagging skin.  While liposuction does not directly address sagging skin, it does remove the heavy fat within the arm that is contributing to the arm skin stretching and sagging.  Liposuction of the upper arms removes some of the volume within the arm and also frees up the skin to naturally tighten once the fat is removed.  Men are often very satisfied with upper arm liposuction because after recovering from the procedure they are able to incorporate weight lifting into their exercise regimen to contribute to arm recontouring that results in a tight and muscular upper arm.

Liposuction of the Thighs

Liposuction in the thigh area is also common among men because fat deposits in the upper thigh can be embarrassing and is often associated with a problem area for women, not men, and therefore men are more sensitive to imperfections in this area.  The liposuction procedure for thighs is similar to the procedure for upper arms.   A saline solution is introduced into the upper thigh, and through manipulation of the cannulas, fat is broken up and removed from the area.  Differences may include a greater amount of fat removed from the thigh, and a greater length of procedure due to the larger area being liposuctioned.  However, men are equally satisfied with thigh liposuction, as it allows clothing to fit more naturally and attractively, and returns men’s thigh area back to its naturally young and fit appearance. The best candidates for male liposuction of the arms and thighs are those who are in good health and have attempted diet and exercise prior to electing surgery to improve the appearance of their body.  Those who are most satisfied with their procedures are men who enter into surgery with a clear goal in mind and realistic expectations of what to expect after surgery.  Dr. Kole is happy to discuss with you your goals and expectations, and he encourages men to remain healthy up to and after the surgical procedure.  For more information, contact the Kole Plastic Surgery Center at 215-315-7655 to schedule your private complimentary consultation today.
