Philadelphia Breast Augmentation Surgeon discloses cleavage tricks

Cleavage- everybody loves cleavage, but sometimes it’s not that easy to get natural looking cleavage.

It is extremely popular for adding some extra volume and shape to your bust line with a breast augmentation. One added bonus of breast augmentation for a lot of patients is additional cleavage. Cleavage definitely accents the sexy new body contour you’ve just acquired and also adds a little boost in self-esteem and a better body image knowing you can fill out that dress and show as little or as much cleavage you desire.

The secret to great cleavage is a great plastic surgeon. Philadelphia and Bucks County Kole Plastic Surgery is one of the best breast plastic surgeons in the Philadelphia, Bucks County and Montgomery County area.

Secret Cleavage Tricks

It’s very common for women to try to get additional sexy cleavage through clever tricks and illusions to make themselves appear that they have more cleavage than they actually do.

This cleavage illusion is done with:

  • Specialized bras
  • Silicone gel based bra inserts
  • Silicone gel padding “chicken cutlets”
  • Inflatable inserts
  • Specialized bra padding
  • Duct tape

Pretty soon it becomes clear that there is just no substitution for the real thing. That’s where Dr. Kole comes in to help.

The amount of cleavage obtainable depends on your body type, breast bone size and implant placement more than the actual implants themselves. The final size of the augmented breasts are the sum of the implant size plus the pre-operative breast size.

Body type

Larger body typed women with larger frames will require a larger volume of breast implant than a thinner smaller body typed women will.   In other words, a 38C and a 32C are both “C’s” but the 38C is a much larger breast than the 32C is. Therefore, smaller volume changes in thinner framed women are more noticeable than the same volume increase in larger framed women.

Breast bone size and implant placement

Women with narrow breast bones can have the implants placed right up against the side of the breast bone thus achieving maximal cleavage. In women with wider breast bones, the implants can also be placed against the edge of the breast bone but since the breast bone is wider, the final cleavage will be less. The implants cannot be place over or on top of the breast bone because the supporting tissue is lost and the breasts will eventually connect causing “uni-boob” or synmastia. This is an extremely difficult condition to correct and it’s better to avoid rather to try to repair later on.

Obtaining the right balance and proportions

The correct balance and proportions for your body type, frame and breast bone are just some of the considerations that need to be discussed prior to your breast augmentation.
