Removing Cellulite Has Become Easy, All Because Of Cellulaze by Cynosure

Growing up, you must have huffed and groaned about undulating thighs and dimpled rumps, not ceasing until well after your golden years. In fact; according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, nearly 90% of all women experience cellulite to some degree; a fact that has bred a huge demand to get rid of it.

Women have become so fixated with the idea of a cellulite free body that purchasing of cellulite firming and other related products being sold in department stores, is becoming the norm, despite mixed reviews. It’s into this craze that Cellulaze first entered the market. So what is Cellulaze? This minimally invasive and laser based treatment has not only been developed by Cynosure but has also been approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

The Cellulite Problem

Unfortunately, a thin person with well toned muscles is just as likely to get cellulite as an overweight person with jiggly skin. Moreover, no matter the number of squats you put yourself through; it won’t address the core problem at hand, and therefore, will not change your appearance at all.

It is important to know that the female skin structure is slightly different than that of a male’s, i.e. they have vertical bands of tough connective tissue that slightly pulls down in the skin.

As such, when it comes fighting against cellulite infested skin, three major and formidable opponents need to be considered, i.e. the structure of the female body (as women get it more than men), the hormones, and time itself.

The New Technique

Surprisingly enough; there hasn’t been any transformative or permanent fix to the problem till now, which is perhaps the sole reason why the world is abuzz about Cellulaze.

Here’s How It Works: The patient undergoing the procedure is subjected to a local anesthetic and the area to be operated upon is anesthetized. Then a laser fiber is attached through a pencil thin cannula, which is then directed under the skin. There, the septae are transected and the fat pockets melted. The skin is also heated from the inside out, which is what encourages elastin and collagen growth.

The one good thing about this procedure is that it takes relatively less time; in fact patients can resume their normal activities from the very next day! The only side effects of the surgery experienced are soreness and bruising, which is expected from all types of surgery, and normally take up to a week or two to disappear.

In as little as two weeks, results begin to show, and continue to develop for at least another 4 to 6 months till the healing process has been completed. And the best part yet? The results last.
